OVERVIEW

Your lifetime ticket to a world of marvel and beauty

Life as a diver begins here. Start applying to the PADI’s online elearning course.

Step into the pool to practice your new skills and then take your knowledge into the ocean for the 4 open water dives.

This is all it takes to join the world of millions of underwater explorers.

What to Expect

The life of a diver starts right here

The PADI open water course is divided in three main sections:

A knowledge development phase where you will learn all the notions to understand the basic principle of scuba diving.

A confined water training where you will put all the theory knowledge into practice, learning basic and fundamental scuba skills.

4 open water dives in the ocean to use your skills and explore.

How the certification process works

The independent study part begins enrolling with PADI eLearning.

You can start applying and finish your independent study before travel, to minimize your classroom time during your vacations.

Once you are here, what we need is 3 half days of your focus to go through the pool training and 2 days of diving.

On day 1 we will meet at the dive center where you will be fitted for equipment and from where you will be driven to our local pool.

We will spend an average of 4 hours there, during that time you will practice all the theory knowledge you learned previously and all the scuba skills necessary for you to be an independent diver. Each step will be taken following your pace, with no rush and in line with your needs.

On day 2 and 3 after meeting at the dive center, we will drive to Punta de Mita where our boat ride to the dive location will start.

On those 2 days you will get to practice all you have learned previously in the pool directly in the ocean. During your open water dives, 2 on each day, you will be required to demonstrate all the skills you have been teached first, followed by 4 fun dives.

Earning a PADI Open water certification shows that you have met all the course requirements and qualify you as an independent diver trained to a maximum depth of 60 feet/18 meters.

Back in town to celebrate the beginning of a lifetime filled with diving adventures

At the end of each diving day we will have lunch set up for you at our favorite local restaurant!
